Clear answers before you buy.
What YCB Desk does now, what is still in testing and what is only planned.
Is YCB Desk a Windows or Mac application?
The desktop application is designed for Windows. A native Mac application is not currently released. Future Web access is a separate project.
Can YCB store my business data locally?
Yes. Local-first data storage is a core product direction. A true offline activation route is planned for customers who want zero app internet access.
Will Google sign-in upload my invoices?
No. A future YCB Account for sign-in and subscription management is separate from optional business-data cloud synchronisation.
Are invoices translated when I change the menu language?
No. Customer invoices, quotes and receipts default to English, independently of the selected interface language.
Can I track unpaid and partially paid invoices?
Payment status, balance tracking and related records are part of the tested product scope. Final public functionality will be documented at launch.
Does it submit VAT returns or payroll to HMRC?
No direct HMRC filing or full statutory PAYE/RTI payroll is promised. Planning calculations and business records have defined limits.
Can I manage clients, jobs and worker hours?
These workflows are part of the desktop development scope, linked to invoices and internal costs, with detailed acceptance before launch.
Is there a monthly or yearly plan?
Monthly and annual subscription plan estimates are shown on Pricing. Buy buttons lead to plan review; real checkout opens only after secure payments and licence delivery are enabled. Strict offline licences will be offered separately.
When will YCB Desk launch?
A public date has not been confirmed. A real countdown will be shown on the Release page after final approval.
Will there be a phone version?
A future responsive Web/PWA version may support mobile access and reminders when opt-in cloud synchronisation is ready. No separate native phone app is currently offered.
