YCB will also offer a signed offline licence file for local-only working, without Google login or data upload. This is a separate purchasing route, not a cloud subscription.
One user, their own devices
Seats identify real team members; the future connected product will allow a person to sign in on their own Windows PCs without buying a new user seat for each device. Cloud business-data sync is separate and optional.
