Install, find and update YCB Desk.

Public release and publisher-signing checks are still in progress. Use the release status on the download page to identify the package you have been given.

Desktop, Start menu and taskbar

The installer offers separate Desktop and Start menu shortcuts. Start menu means the Windows Start menu; it does not mean the taskbar. To pin YCB Desk, open it, right-click its running taskbar icon and choose Pin to taskbar. The pin stays after you close the program.

If a shortcut does not open

Check whether YCB Desk opens from the Start menu. Keep the installed program folder in place. A shortcut points to the installed executable; it is separate from your encrypted business records. Contact support with the version and what happens when you open the shortcut. Do not delete your business folder to repair an icon.

Use a smaller window

Use Restore in the title bar to leave the maximised view, then drag a window edge to resize it. Scroll the main page to reach its lower controls. On a narrow window, use the navigation menu to move between pages. If a control remains unreachable, report your Windows version, display scale and the affected page; a small browser preview is not a check of every laptop display.

Before an update

Make a verified backup from the app and keep it outside the program folder. Finish your current work and close YCB Desk before replacing it. Get the installer through the official download page and compare its version and checksum. Publisher-signature verification is a separate release requirement. If Windows reports a missing or unexpected publisher, stop and check the release status with support.

Keep your records and a rollback copy

Use Updates / rollback in YCB Desk for the configured update channel. Keep the previous verified backup until the new version opens the expected business and documents. Do not rename, move or overwrite an open database yourself.
